The Challenge

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) was hosting a major race event to celebrate the winners while engaging attendees in a high-energy branded experience.

CPKC needed a photo activation that could handle high guest traffic while delivering premium-quality images suitable for social sharing.

The activation needed to:

• Capture high-quality winner photos in a race podium setting
• Process large guest volumes quickly without long queues
• Maintain premium brand presentation appropriate for a major corporate event
• Enable instant digital sharing to extend the event’s reach beyond the venue

The Solution

Custom Race-Themed Photo Experience

DMA designed a fully branded photo activation zone inspired by the excitement of the race finish line.

Key features included:

Custom-Branded Race Backdrop
A unique, race-inspired backdrop was designed to highlight the CPKC brand and create a visually exciting environment for winners and guests.

Podium Photo Platform
Guests stepped onto a race-style podium platform, recreating the experience of standing on the winner’s podium.

Professional Photo Capture System
DMA’s professional photography system delivered high-resolution images with consistent lighting, ensuring every guest received a polished photo suitable for sharing.

Dedicated Sharing Station
To maintain efficient guest flow, a separate sharing station allowed attendees to instantly send photos via email or SMS, reducing wait times at the photo capture area.
